Where can I check my contract details?

Once successfully signed up for the Program, you will receive your contract via email. All the terms and conditions of the program are stated in the contract.

Where do I make my monthly payments?

CompAsia will send you an invoice monthly via email and the payment can be done via a payment gateway through the URL link that will be shared in the email. For credit/debit card user, you may find the successful transaction will state the receiver as “iPay88” or “iPay88*Terra Optimus Pearl Sdn. Bhd.” in your bank/card monthly statement.

Can I terminate within the contract period?

You can terminate the contract early, but only after 12 months of the commencement date. Early Termination is allowed, and is subjected to penalty fee stated below:-  Penalty Fee = (Monthly Rental x Remaining Months Balance) + Estimated Replacement Value (if applicable) +Administration Fee

What should I do if the device is faulty?

Accepted Answer

Upon receiving the new device from the store, please ensure to thoroughly check the device for defects. If there is something wrong with the device, notify the store immediately and request for a replacement. Once you have agreed to take the device, you shall be responsible for the condition of the device throughout the contract duration and continue paying the monthly fee until the end of the contract.

What happens if the device got stolen/broken beyond repair?

This program does not come with device protection; hence you will need to continue paying until the end of the contract.

Question 6

Can I upgrade my device before the contract ends?

Accepted Answer

No. For Apple devices, the upgrade windows are only on the 25th month (for 24 months program) and on the 37th month (for 36 months program).  For Android devices, the upgrade window are 25th month (24 months program)

Question 7

Can I upgrade/trade-in within the contract period?

Accepted Answer

Yes. However, you can’t do an early settlement. You will still need to pay the monthly fee of the previous phone AND the new upgraded phone until both the contract period ends.
